Trading cards and bubble gum have been a Topps combination for 50 years. The Topps Company distributes and markets the famous Bazooka bubble gum and produces trading cards featuring pictures of professional sports stars from the National Basketball Association (NBA), National Football League (NFL), and Major League Baseball (MLB). Topps is the Official Licensee for MLB products sold in grocery, drug, memorabilia and souvenir stores as well as through mass merchants, sporting good stores and on-line.

Majestic Athletic was acquired by VF Corp in 2007 and is part of their VF Imagewear division. Majestic designs and manufactures athletic team uniforms and outerwear and has an exclusive on-field uniform rights license with all 30 Major League Baseball clubs; the company also provides practice jerseys, shorts, and fleecewear to the clubs. Additionally, Majestic Athletic has licensing agreements with such sporting entities as the NBA, the NFL, and a number of colleges and universities. Majestic primarily sells to sport specialty stores, team stores, memorabilia stores and through online partnerships.
